Gunter Senior Photographer | Emily

I have always wanted curls.  Ever since I was little.  My best friend, Leslie, had a head full of corkscrew curls, and I just knew that true happiness was found in a curl.  Alas, my mostly-straight-but-sometimes-weird/wavy hair isn't too inclined to a curl.  I guess I'm not destined for true happiness, if my five-year-old theory is correct.  Anyhow, meet Emily, a senior at my high school, who has what could be called... Perfect. Curls.

Thanks for choosing me, Emily!  You're beautiful, and I had a blast with you!!

Sherman Wedding Photographer | DJ and Carrie are hitched!!

This was a very good thing.  Carrie called me a couple weeks before her wedding to see if I could fill in for her photographer, and I was so humbled and honored and EXCITED, so of course I said yes!  Here's a bit of their wedding day.

Carrie and DJ, thank you so much for including me.  You guys are blessed with wonderful families, and I am so excited that you two are getting to start your own.  Thank you for letting me take part in your big day!

Dallas Family Photographer | Sutton Family

Well, this is special to me.  Here's the background story:  I grew up with these peeps.  Church, school, you name it.  Our moms picked each other's kids up from school, we played some of the same sports, we had the same kids choir concerts.  And now we're all old.  This family of four has exploded into an incredible clan of nine, including three grandkids.  Kinda mind blowing.  Anyways, the youngest member of the original crew, Landel, has given our country the privilege of serving us as a Marine, and will head to the Middle East soon.  Since the family spans almost coast-to-coast, they were stoked to be able to reunite in Texas over Labor Day weekend, and I was beyond flattered to be asked to take their family portraits.  Thank you, Suttons, for the honor of taking your photos, and for letting Landel be a hero.

Thank you again, guys, and come home soon, Landel!
