Prom 2011izzle

This girl (points at self) found herself caught up in a whirlwind of prom activities the past few days!  I had about 4% responsibility, which miiight have been as much as I could handle.  Anyways, it was really great, really fun, maybe the best I've been to--and I've been to a few, letmetellya.  What made this one so special, you ask?  Here's a hint.

Vanessa + friends | Mesquite, Texas

I wish I had this idea when I was growing up!  Vanessa had a big ol' birthday party-sleepover, and then had me come over the next morning to get a few we'rebestfriendsandwe'llloveeachotherforalways photos.  I had so much fun!  The four of us walked over to a park that was (vaguely :) near her house, and pretty much just played around.  You girls are gorgeous!!

Oh yeah!!  Work it, work it!!

I won't say how old they are...because you won't believe me.  They are beautiful beyond their years!  I wish I had been this confident and cute when I was in high school!!

BarronCP | Recording Artist

I don't know if "Recording Artist" is actually the right label for this guy or not, but it's at least pretty close!  Barron is a dear dear friend, and he graced my classroom last Friday with a host of dynamic and inspirational presentations.  My kids were floored.  And you know tenth graders don't tend towards that reaction too often.  So this guy is the real deal.  Fo realz.  Follow BarronCP on twitter!  @BarronCP

Loren | Dallas, Texas Fitness Model Photographer

Loren (or La, as her family calls her), is from my hometown and is an absolute jewel!  I remember playing together when we were little girls and arguing about who got to play with which Barbie.  We went to the same high school and our families have always been friends.  When she contacted me several weeks ago about being a part of putting together a fitness modeling portfolio, I JUMPED at the chance!!  After you see this beautiful girl, you'll know why.

I had so much fun with Loren and her beautiful mama.  I know you'll be seeing her soon!!

Website LAUNCHED!! | BE Photography Online

It's official!  I just launched my brand-spankin-new website!! I am so excited.  I don't know if you noticed, but I also changed the domain of this blog ( www.bephotographyblog.com ). 

This whole process starting with some wonderful branding work by the one, the only, Jessica Klepac.  She's amazing.  She also did our wedding invitations and everything, but the way--simply fabulous.  Anyways!

With that logo, which has been on this blog for several days (whoops!), I felt the go-ahead to go ahead and take a few big steps.  Here's to the mysterious future!

Clara | College Station, Texas Newborn Photographer

I am so so glad that we were able to swing through College Station on our tour de Tejas this week...we got to meet Miss Clara!  She is lovely.  And she is loved.  And I was able to get a few photos before I agitated her into a little baby-fit.  Perfect.
